A great spring day for building!
Yet more progress on the siding — the end is in sight!
Other projects included cinder blocks and concrete on top of the bulk head door locations, some interior tasks, installation of fan vents, and more.

Two great crews today: one in the morning and one in the afternoon.
Lots of progress on the siding! The scaffolding came down for good on the Pratts Mill side and it was relocated to the front wall where lots of work was done, in addition to a lot of work on the South side wall as well. Other projects included digging holes for some window wells, painting and installing some “ground” trim along the top of the exterior walls, some yard reorganization and cleanup, and more.

More siding today!
The Pratts Mill side was completed, making the second complete side (in addition to the back wall)! More siding was put up on the front of the house, and siding work resumed on the South side of the house. Also, the scaffolding came down on the rear wall, giving a full view of that finished side.
Really looking like a house now!

A beautiful spring day. Lots more siding work, including completion of the back wall!
An interesting task included removing ice from part of the floor of the still open basement (bulk head and basement windows not installed yet) — skating rink not really considered a permanent design feature. 
Other tasks included installing the remaining basement door, sawing out the wall base plates from doorways, miscellaneous interior wall blocking and more.

A rainy day, but a big crew and lots more progress on SIDING.
Some other tasks as well, such as stapling up soffit venting inside the roof, some blocking in preparation for drywall, taking down the last set of scaffolding and brackets (was on the front side of the house), and more.

Is Spring here? It certainly seemed like it on Saturday, with sunny skies and the temperature approaching 60 at mid day. What a welcome change — let’s hope this is the start of a trend!
A large crew today got a lot done. Lots of progress on siding on multiple walls, plus first floor electrical work and more.
Thanks to the Sudbury Girl Scouts for providing a great lunch!

Siding continues on a cold but sunny day.
Also, the electricians and the plumbers show up — wiring starts on the second floor of both units, and plumbing of one of the second floor bathrooms starts. A crowded work site today!
